What are your store hours - can I place my order at any time of the day or night?

Please call, email, or stop in Monday thru Thursday 7AM to 5PM, or Friday 7AM to 4PM. (We're closed on Saturday & Sunday.) You can also use our online ordering system to create a pick ticket/quote. To request after hours, holidays & weekends service, please contact our sales department for an Emergency contact number.

How do you determine delivery charges - by weight, or distance, or both?

Both! Chesterfield Trading Company runs a fleet of delivery vehicles Monday – Friday. We deliver throughout Northern Virginia, Central Virginia, South/Central Virginia, Southeastern Virginia, and Eastern North Carolina. Normally, local delivery (within a 45 mile radius of Chesterfield Trading Company) is charged at a flat rate of $15. Out of our delivery route? No problem! We have partnered with multiple Full Truck, Hot Shot Truckers, LTL Carriers, UPS and Fed Ex to provide nationwide delivery options. We are committed to getting the products you purchase to where you need them on time. Contact our sales department for an accurate price quote.

Do you offer a choice of manufacturers for the products I need?

Yes, we stock over 20,000 items. Chesterfield Trading Company is proud to work with the highest quality industrial manufacturers. We specialize in professional grade products for our professional tradesmen.

Are the parts and materials you sell Made in America?

We are proud to say - YES THEY ARE! In fact, we manufacture made-to-order wire rope and rigging supplies right here at our facilities in Chesterfield, Virginia. Our team is made up of Proud, Patriotic Americans, and we take MADE IN AMERICA extremely serious! We grade our manufacturers, request the best warranty programs, and buy American first. We do utilize import manufacturers when necessary, to provide customers cost-effective alternatives.

How much lead time should I allow for an order to be filled?

In stock items are pulled daily for will call OR delivered same day or next day within normal delivery routes. Our sales team will notify you if an item is out of stock and will communicate the best availability options. We are here to serve you: Let us know what you need. "We are small enough to care but big enough to deliver."

What is the maximum size cable you can fabricate at your facility?

We have the product & equipment on hand to fabricate and test up to 2" diameter wire rope. We can pull test rigging, certify it, tag it and provide documentation for it. We have a 350,000-pound pull test machine on site. We have partnered with multiple vendors to provide large diameter wire options for rope slings. If you require +2" diameter wire rope rigging, ask our sales team.
